ABOUT ME |
Sean Cooney
MSME, Northeastern University
I’m a mechanical engineering graduate from Northeastern University with a combined bachelors/masters degree with a concentration in mechanics and design. I have a strong passion for cars, bikes, and really anything that moves which led me into engineering and my position as captain of the Northeastern Baja SAE team. Throughout my experience in Baja, I have enjoyed the challenge of collecting data to improve our analysis and push ourselves to the limit in pursuit of first place. In my free time, I’m not afraid to take on new challenges or push myself creatively through small projects such as my custom bicycle wheel building/truing stand or a love of cooking. Back home in PA, my father and I are model train fanatics. Weather permitting, I like to get out of the house to ski, hike, bike, or go for a drive with friends.
